Job summary

Brevard County's Utility Services Department seeks a permanent, full-time senior administrator to direct, coordinate, and supervise all county water and wastewater operations, engineering, construction, and finance activities within the county's service areas.

Requires a Master's in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Eng or related field plus six years of professional experience, three in management; Florida PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Six years of progressively responsible professional experience in utility engineering.
• Three years in management of water and wastewater systems.
• Florida PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and supervise all county water and wastewater operations, engineering, construction, and finance.
• Supervise professional, technical, and clerical staff.
• Work schedule may include evenings and weekends as needed.
