Job summary
Learning Resources Ltd in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement to lead warehouse systems, analytics, and automation initiatives. You will manage cross-functional teams with IT, engineering, and operations to ensure scalable, data-driven improvements across fulfillment, labor productivity, system performance, and cost.
The role focuses on go-live of a 700k sq ft automated DC, developing KPI dashboards, and establishing governance with vendors and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, SCM, Operations, Business, Logistics or Information Systems.
- Experience in warehouse/distribution operations and implementations with systems and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with WMS platforms (D365 preferred) and warehouse technologies (WES/WCS).
- Proven ability to build KPI frameworks and dashboards; PowerBI experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, optimization, and performance of warehouse systems, analytics, and infrastructure.
- Drive go-live of new automated distribution center with stable operations and full system integration.
- Build data-driven operating processes and KPI dashboards for ongoing performance.
