Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking a Director of Vulnerability and Exploits to lead a high-impact security program. You will own the full vulnerability lifecycle, drive exploit research, and build risk-based prioritization that protects HPC and AI-scale infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on technical depth, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in vulnerability research, offensive security, or exploit development with leadership experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise in vulnerability analysis and exploit research including reverse engineering and PoC development.
• Strong ability to innovate risk-measurement models and prioritization frameworks for large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a two-discipline team (vulnerability management and exploit research) with clear ownership and technical standards.
• Own end-to-end vulnerability management across the infrastructure, including assessment, triage, remediation tracking, and SLAs.
• Direct exploit research to understand true exploitability and model adversarial scenarios in HPC and AI environments.
• Develop context-aware risk measurement models and prioritize maintenance by demonstrated exploitability and operational impact.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Network teams to embed secure-by-default practices.
• Drive tooling strategy for vulnerability assessment, management, and exploit research platforms.
• Establish program metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting for risk posture and remediation velocity.
