Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud seeks a Director of Offensive Security to own and run a standing offensive capability against production HPC and cloud infrastructure. You will emulate threat actors, validate detections, and produce evidence-backed assessments to ensure controls work under realistic attack conditions.

You will lead a team, manage external vendors, and drive KPIs with formal, attestable findings. This role demands deep offensive security expertise and executive communication.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in offensive security with hands-on depth across multiple domains.
• 5+ years leading offensive security teams and hiring specialized talent.
• Experience leading red team operations against mature SOC/EDR/IR environments.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK v15, CALDERA, and purple team models.
• Hands-on with production-grade offensive tooling and cloud/offensive tradecraft.

Responsibilities

• Build and run continuous red team program against production HPC and cloud environments.
• Emulate threat actors aligned to MITRE ATT&CK, producing evidence-backed assessments.
• Validate detection and response efficacy with coverage reports and SLAs.
• Own purple team feedback loop for undetected TTPs and IR playbooks.
• Drive offensive security KPIs and publish formal assessment reports.
