Job summary

Elizabeth Hospice in Escondido, CA is seeking a visionary leader to manage our volunteer program. You will strategize, track KPIs, and supervise Volunteer Supervisors/Coordinators, aligning efforts with patient care and community outreach.

You will build partnerships with community organizations, ensure regulatory compliance, and report on program outcomes to leadership, while guiding staffing, training, and annual budgeting for volunteer services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts, communications, or business administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• People management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• At least three years in nonprofit as program coordinator or volunteer manager.
• Strong presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the volunteer program.
• Directly supervise Volunteer Supervisors/Coordinators.
• Develop annual goals, KPIs, and initiatives for volunteers.
• Ensure policies and procedures are standardized and compliant.
• Cultivate community partnerships and represent the agency.
• Prepare regular reports to leadership on outcomes.
