Job summary

Buck Mason, headquartered in Los Angeles, seeks a Director of Visual Presentation to lead the creative and strategic direction of all in-store visual presentation across its retail network. You will translate brand concepts into cohesive retail experiences, drive storytelling, oversee store openings, remodels, and establish visual standards while managing a team of merchandisers and freelancers.

This role requires 8+ years in visual merchandising, strong design sense, and the ability to balance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in brand guidelines, visual merchandising, new store openings, and team management.
• Strong storytelling, styling, and spatial design with a high sense of aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and ability to scale programs across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement seasonal visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate across design, merchandising, and retail teams to communicate vision from concept to customer experience.
• Lead design and development of fixtures and furnishings for new store builds.
• Create visual standards, guidelines, and training materials for retail teams.
• Partner with retail, marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
• Oversee store openings, remodels, and special retail projects from concept to execution.
• Analyze store performance and customer behavior to refine merchandising approaches.
• Manage and train a team of visual merchandisers and freelancers.
• Conduct regular store visits to uphold visual standards and identify improvements.
