Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Director of Value Added to oversee the Grab & Go and Fresh Cuts processing center. The role focuses on strategic leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient and profitable operations.

The Director will build and develop a high-performing team, align operations with FreshPoint's growth goals, and ensure compliance with USDA and FDA food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive operations management experience.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of USDA and FDA food safety regulations.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of the processing center to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Build and develop a high-performing production team through hiring, coaching, and evaluation.
• Drive profitability by optimizing resources and controlling costs.
• Partner with supply chain, quality assurance, and logistics for end-to-end production and distribution.
• Champion process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and production metrics aligned with goals.
• Lead enterprise initiatives with accountability and continuous improvement.
