Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 years of underwriting, risk management, or actuarial experience.
• 5 years of external client interaction or comparable external interactions.
• 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, coaching, performance, rewards, and productivity.
• Direct daily operations with budget responsibility.
• Develop and refresh region-level or functional book management strategies.
• Coordinate with regional Sales leadership to anticipate client needs and manage workload.
• Provide guidance and insights for critical clients.
• Drive portfolio and functional results toward strategic goals.
• Maintain positive customer relationships with stakeholders.
• Oversee strategy development and risk resolution.
• Act as SME and guide underwriting functions.
• Ensure consistency of underwriting policies and guidelines.
• Review renewal/prospect quotes to prevent adverse selection and financial loss.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
