Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced leader to plan, direct, and manage the multi-function underwriting branch. You will oversee origination, credit extension, and risk monitoring while ensuring member experience aligns with NFCU policies.

You will supervise professionals and drive strategic initiatives, policy updates, and audits. A senior role requiring collaboration with Credit Policy, Compliance and senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience leading and managing a multi-functional lending operation
• Expert knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (FCRA/NCUA/CFPB)
• Advanced knowledge of banking trends, products and services
• Strong data querying, reporting and analysis skills
• Proven project leadership with cross-functional teams

• Develop branch strategy and goals; align with department objectives
• Direct operations to meet targets, SLAs and risk controls
• Lead benchmarking and trend analysis to improve service and reduce risk
• Oversee staffing levels and allocate resources to meet demand
• Collaborate with Credit Policy and Compliance on risk mitigation
• Serve on Credit Committee to set guidelines for credit decisions
• Manage cross-team projects and deliverables from inception to implementation
• Ensure staff development and timely performance reviews
