Carriage Services in Houston, TX seeks a Director of Trust to oversee administration, compliance, and financial integrity of the preneed and perpetual care trust portfolio. You will collaborate with accounting, legal, field operations, and development, ensuring deposits, withdrawals, and filings meet statutory deadlines while preparing for audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Seven+ years in trust administration, fiduciary operations, or regulatory compliance.
• At least three years leading a team; funeral services experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily trust operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and documentation.
• Ensure regulatory conformity and prepare timely state trust reports and audits.
• Coordinate responses to state trust examinations and regulatory inquiries; manage examiner communications.
• Escalate material compliance matters to CFO and General Counsel with action plans.
• Manage relationships with trustees, custodians, and third-party administrators.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over trust processes per Sarbanes-Oxley.
