Job summary

Lexicon Inc. is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead Lexicon University programs that grow employee leadership, skilled trades readiness, and operational excellence across the organization.

The role partners with business leaders to design curriculum, facilitates in-person and virtual learning, and drives measurable outcomes through data-driven evaluation and continuous improvement. You will manage a team of training coordinators, collaborate with vendors and certification partners,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, ideally in construction/heavy manufacturing or related operational env.
• 3-5 years of experience managing people, including coaching, performance management and workload planning.
• Experience facilitating training programs from planning to evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with grant writing, grant management, or related reporting preferred.
• DDI certification and other training/design certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Lexicon University development programs including leadership, skilled trades, onboarding, and safety training.
• Partner with leaders to assess workforce needs and translate into curricula, maps, and rollout strategies.
• Facilitate in-person, virtual, and blended learning to build leadership capability and operational readiness.
• Develop and maintain training materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and e-learning content.
• Track program effectiveness using feedback, assessments, data, and business impact measures.
• Manage and coach training coordinators and program staff.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, certification partners, SMEs, and internal stakeholders.
• Support workforce development initiatives such as internships and pre-hire readiness programs.
• Assist with grant writing, administration, reporting, and compliance for Lexicon programs.
• Manage logistics, LMS administration, scheduling, communications, and reporting.
