Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Training to lead the development and execution of agency-wide learning and development initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring all staff have the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to support high-quality care and organizational success. The Director of Training partners closely with leadership to align training strategies with agency goals, foster workforce development, and drive a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training and staff development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on workforce readiness, capability building, and organizational development.
  • Anticipate skill gaps and implement proactive, data-driven learning solutions.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and annual training programs.
  • Ensure training content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee training operations including scheduling, delivery, and tracking of attendance within learning systems.
  • Evaluate and manage learning technologies, vendors, and external training partners.
  • Lead, coach, and develop training staff, including the Training Coordinator.
  • Manage training budgets and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Establish and maintain standards for instructional design and training delivery.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives.
  • Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve programs and outcomes.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and develop role‑specific learning pathways.
  • Support change management, organizational growth, and culture initiatives through targeted learning programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and organizational training requirements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on training performance and outcomes for leadership.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field required.
