This role is part of RS Americas corporate team, in support of a location that receives, stores and maintains 275,000 stocked products, and processes and dispatches all customer orders that originate in North America.
About The Role
Role Purpose
This individual will work with various stakeholders across the business to monitor and respond to Vendor Assessments, Security Audits and Questionnaires, drive and manage SOC / ISO certification and ensure industry best practices related to security principles are followed. The role also involves tracking compliance requests, ensuring adherence to protocols like Privacy, GDPR, HIPAA / HiTrust, and updating the Executive Leadership team on progress, risks, and mitigation plans. Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, the Director of Trade Compliance will oversee import/export compliance according to US and international regulations, support license acquisition, and liaise with government agencies and customs brokers.
This person must possess excellent business partnering skills, influence leaders, and support strategic growth through data-driven improvements.
