Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management for Business Cards & Payments. Based in Richmond, VA or McLean, VA, you will guide major technical transformations and build scalable TPM practices across portfolios.

You will align roadmaps with business goals, drive architectural coherence, and influence senior leaders on tradeoffs between velocity, cost, and reliability. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, mentor TPMs, and push platform standardization while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building distributed systems and services.
• Strong background in Agile delivery and program management.
• MBA or Master’s in a technical field adds strategic business perspective.

Responsibilities

• Define and synchronize program roadmaps with business objectives and architecture.
• Elevate TPM maturity through operating models, metrics, and governance.
