Iambic Therapeutics, based in San Diego, is seeking a Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems to lead design and ongoing management of compensation, benefits, and HR technology.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will shape salary structures, equity guidelines, and annual reviews, while ensuring scalable HRIS platforms and compliant programs aligned with our talent strategy and growth at a biotech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance or related field; CCP preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience with significant expertise in compensation, benefits, and/or HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of salary structures, incentive programs, equity guidelines, and job architecture.
• Experience managing U.S. benefits programs and working with brokers, consultants, and vendors.
• Demonstrated HRIS expertise including implementation, optimization, reporting, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's compensation strategy and programs, including salary structures and market benchmarking.
• Manage executive, employee and international compensation benchmarking.
• Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement, leave and wellness.
• Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment with brokers and vendors.
• Own HRIS strategy and administration, ensuring accurate, efficient, scalable systems and data.
• Establish governance across compensation, benefits, and HR systems with documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes and improve experience.
• Stay current on market trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging practices.
