Job summary

Iambic Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems to lead total rewards design and HR technology strategy. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will develop salary structures, equity guidelines, comprehensive benefits, and scalable HRIS platforms for a fast-growing biotech environment.

The role partners with executives and Finance to push market benchmarking, optimize processes, and manage vendor relationships during rapid company expansion in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance or related field; CCP preferred.
• 12+ years HR experience with compensation, benefits and HRIS expertise.
• Strong knowledge of benchmarking, salary structures, equity programs, and job architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation strategy and programs, incl. salary structures, reviews, bonuses, equity guidelines.
• Manage executive, employee and international compensation benchmarking.
• Oversee benefits programs: health, retirement, leave, wellness and other offerings.
• Lead benefits renewal, enrollments and broker/vendor relationships.
• Own HRIS strategy, including data governance, reporting and integrations.
• Establish governance across compensation, benefits and HR systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve experience.
• Stay current on market trends, regulations and best practices.
