Job summary

Cintra-led consortium is seeking a senior technology leader to own the multi-year roadside technology roadmap across LBJ, NTE and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes, reconciling CDA obligations and renewal sequencing. You will drive technology strategy, oversee supplier engagement, and ensure timely delivery of upgrades.

The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with the CIO, COO and Field Systems Director to maintain architecture, drive testing and acceptance, and provide ongoing technical support while

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical field.
• Ten+ years in electronic tolling systems with roadside focus.
• Experience working with toll system suppliers or integrators.
• Ownership of technical specifications, test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Experience holding suppliers to contractual and performance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year roadside technology roadmap across LBJ, NTE and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes, and renewals planning.
• Act as technical voice with toll system suppliers in design reviews and negotiations; write clear specifications.
• Lead renewal projects from concept through design, procurement, testing and acceptance.
• Own ITS documentation and data repository; maintain versioning and retention for CDA hand back obligations.
• Develop and maintain testing and acceptance framework; define KPI and evidence standards.
• Ensure compliance with Texas tolling interoperability requirements and quality-performance reporting.
• Lead and develop ITS Engineering team; build internal capability and pilots for innovation.
