Job summary

TEXpress Lanes in Dallas–Fort Worth region seeks an experienced technology leader to own the roadside technology roadmap across LBJ, NTE, and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes. You will coordinate with CIO/COO and Field Systems to deliver renewal projects, set technical standards, and manage supplier relationships.

The role requires a decade of tolling systems experience, strong architecture skills, and a proven track record in engineering leadership. On-site in Dallas with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, systems, computer or civil engineering.
• 10+ years in electronic tolling or similar roadside systems.
• Experience with toll system suppliers or integrators.
• Ability to define specifications, test plans and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year roadside technology roadmap for LBJ, NTE and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes.
• Lead technical evaluation of supplier proposals and drive awards.
• Oversee program delivery from concept through design, testing and acceptance.
• Maintain ITS documentation and ensure CDA hand back obligations.
• Represent the company in industry forums and monitor technology trends.
• Collaborate with CIO/COO and Field Systems Director on governance.
