Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Therapy Program Director to lead clinical assessments, program development, and quality improvement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment across campus locations, home health, and outpatient care. This role directs staff, ensures compliance with licensure requirements, and drives productivity and patient outcomes.

The position requires a degree in Physical/ Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology and at least 1 year of skilled rehab experience, with

Qualifications

• Education and licensure in the stated therapy disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year experience delivering skilled rehab services.
• Current CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapy programs and protocols aligned with the facility's mission and standards of care.
• Supervise and mentor a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Oversee resource allocation including staffing, equipment, and budget to support therapy services.
• Organize ongoing training and professional development for therapy staff.
• Analyze program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and drive patient satisfaction.
• Meet the requirements of the specific therapy discipline to deliver skilled rehab services.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary The Therapy Program Director (PD) is responsible for directing clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment in campus location/s, home health, and/or outpatient care. Adheres to compliance with state licensure requirements and the company's policies and procedures, professional practices and ethical standards. Demonstrates accountability for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.

Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
