Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Charlotte, NC seeks a Therapy Program Director to lead our dynamic rehab team across campus locations. This role directs clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity in an interdisciplinary setting with opportunities in campus location(s), home health, and outpatient care.

The ideal candidate holds a current PT/OT/SLP license, has at least 1 year in skilled rehab, and will supervise therapists, design programs, ensure regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience delivering skilled rehab services.
• Ability to lead an interdisciplinary therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapy programs and protocols aligned with facility goals.
• Supervise and mentor a team of therapists with performance evaluations.
• Monitor program effectiveness and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee resources including staffing, equipment, and budget.
• Organize ongoing training and professional development for staff.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Therapy Program Director to LEAD our Dynamic Rehab team at Parc at Sharon Amity and Willow Ridge Memory Care, a dynamic and innovative Senior Living Commmunity located in Charlotte, NC.

• Hourly Rate: $40-48/hr + Biannual Bonus Plan

Job Summary

The Therapy Program Director (PD) is responsible for directing clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment in campus location/s, home health, and/or outpatient care.

Adheres to compliance with state licensure requirements and the company’s policies and procedures, professional practices and ethical standards. Demonstrates accountability for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.

Licenses and Certifications

Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline

Current valid CPR certification, preferred

Education

Degree in Physical/ Occupational Therapy, or Physical/ Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapy programs and protocols that align with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
• Supervise and mentor a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
• Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including staffing, equipment, and budget, to support the successful delivery of therapy services.
• Organize and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Analyze program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Meets the requirements of specific therapy discipline to deliver skilled rehab services within scope of credentials and/or license.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
