Job summary

Renesas Electronics’ Performance Computing Power unit seeks a Director of Test Engineering to lead a global team developing test solutions for digital power controllers and power modules supporting data center and AI infrastructure.

You will own the test strategy end-to-end—from early DFT engagement through characterization, qualification, production release, and sustaining—ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
• 8+ years leading engineering teams and managers.
• Experience developing ATE solutions for analog/mixed-signal/power products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a worldwide team of test managers, architects, and engineers across regions.
• Define and execute end-to-end test strategy for wafer sort to production release.
• Drive test cost reduction and production readiness across multiple sites.
• Partner with Design, Reliability, and Operations throughout product lifecycle.
• Lead adoption of automation and data-driven engineering practices.
