Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in cloud solutions and SaaS products, is seeking a visionary Director of Technology Operations to lead their global technical infrastructure and support teams. This is a fully remote position, requiring a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of IT operations, infrastructure management, and DevOps principles. The Director of Technology Operations will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of all technology systems and services that power our client's cutting-edge platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the company's global IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, servers, and data centers.
• Develop and implement robust strategies for IT infrastructure management, system reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT operations engineers and system administrators across various locations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data, implementing best practices and compliance measures.

• Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing complex, scalable, and highly available IT infrastructure, preferably in a cloud-native environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, system administration, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience leading and managing remote technical teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, budget management, and vendor negotiation.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or cloud certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment.
