Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking a Technology Director for Madison Park High School to secure, maintain, and distribute instructional technology and lead the in-house tech desk for staff.

The role prioritizes technology integration in classrooms, supports annual testing, and creates pathways for students to become responsible technology users across the school. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a tech/education field is required.
• Massachusetts license for Director/Supervisor is required.
• Significant tech leadership experience, preferably in K-12 education environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and budget-management skills; proficient with web tech and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Secure, maintain, and distribute instructional and operational technology (Chromebooks, carts, displays, etc.).
• Set up and maintain systems for distributing and repairing student Chromebooks; coordinate technicians.
• Provide on-site tech support to staff and students for hardware/software issues.
• Budget for technology needs and prioritize requests based on funds availability.
• Maintain Madison's website and publish materials; develop IT solutions for scheduling and communications.
• Assist with master schedules and testing planning (MCAS, SAT, PSAT, MAP).
• Develop and implement building technology policies and ensure school-wide integration.
