Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Director of Technical Services to lead technology transfer, cleaning and process validation across its network of sites. You will drive cross-site strategies, own validation programs, and provide hands-on troubleshooting while partnering with Operations, Quality, R&D and Engineering to ensure reliable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related technical/scientific field.
• 12+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with hands-on tech transfer, validation, or troubleshooting.
• Experience in at least two: 503A/503B, sterile APIs, or peptide manufacturing.
• Familiarity with USP <795>/<797>/<800>, FDA PV Guidance, and ICH Q7/Q11.
• Strong root-cause investigation and CAPA track record.
• Ability to collaborate across distributed sites and travel.
• Proven technical writing for protocols and reports.
• Experience developing or managing managers in a multi-site org.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of new products and processes across sites and transfers from R&D.
• Own transfer protocols,Define critical parameters and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional transitions from development to production.
• Own cleaning validation program across sites, including method development.
• Author validation protocols and reports for cleaning and API processing equipment.
• Lead process validation for sterile/nonsterile operations and peptide API manufacturing.
• Own network-wide process validation program and site-level execution.
• Diagnose deviations, lead root-cause investigations, and CAPA.
• Provide hands-on equipment troubleshooting and improve reliability.
• Set network standards for process development scale-up and IOQ/PQ.
• Review IOQ/PQ protocols for consistency and inspection readiness.
• Manage site Technical Services Managers and support hiring.
• Support FDA/state inspections as SME and prepare technical responses.
