Job summary

AMETEK Inc. invites an experienced Director of Technical Services to lead the Struers service organization in Westlake, OH. The role oversees in-house and field personnel across the US and Canada, driving growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while upholding quality standards.

You will shape strategic plans, implement global service best practices, and ensure ISO 17025 calibration and compliance. Travel will be extensive, including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering acceptable.
• Minimum service management experience.
• Hands-on field service experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CRM service management systems preferred.
• Experience implementing ISO and/or ASTM standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a business plan to achieve strategic objectives and KPIs.
• Lead the service department for in-house and field personnel across the US and Canada.
• Drive service growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with UL, CSA, ISO 17025; calibrate testing equipment.
• Develop training programs and promote knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
