Job summary

Struers, the world’s leading manufacturer of material-testing equipment and consumables, seeks a Field Service Engineer in the Atlanta, Georgia area to support customers across GA, FL, AL, MS and TN. This remote, field-based role offers a company van, home-office setup, and full benefits.

The engineer will perform installation, calibration, warranty and preventive maintenance on precision analyzers, traveling weekly to client sites and collaborating with a US headquarters team based in Westlake,

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in electronic technology from an accredited school.
2–3 years of field service experience with electromechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with MS Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work effectively from a home office.

Responsibilities

Travel weekly to customer sites within the assigned territory.
Perform factory-level installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, calibration, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Provide professional customer support via onsite visits, phone, email, and written correspondence.
Promote preventive maintenance contracts, calibration services, spare parts, and equipment sales.
Maintain accurate and timely service documentation, customer records, and visit reports.
