Job summary

Lumen is seeking a high-impact Manager of Technical Program Management to lead TPMs, RTEs, and Sr. RTEs within a dynamic SDLC environment from a remote location in the U.S.

You will define standards, govern delivery across multiple Agile Release Trains, and drive accountability, transparency, and improvement through metrics and executive reporting. Collaboration with senior leaders is essential to align delivery with business priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of people leadership managing TPMs, RTEs, or similar roles.
• Experience establishing TPM/AGILE governance, dashboards, calendars, and escalation models.
• Strong understanding of SAFe, PI Planning, ART operations and SDLC governance.
• Ability to coach delivery leaders, manage performance, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data and risks into executive-ready insights and improvement plans.
• Proficiency with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Power BI and other reporting tools.
• PMI/SAFe or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead TPMs, RTEs, and Sr. RTEs to deliver complex programs.
• Own operating model standards, playbooks, dashboards, and escalation routines.
• Align portfolio execution with business priorities and roadmaps.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation paths across ARTs.
• Monitor program health, delivery metrics, and cadence adherence.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and leadership to resolve issues.
