Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Director of Technical Business Development for Server Liquid Systems in the United States. You will lead growth strategies, engage executive customers, and govern complex programs across product, engineering, and operations.

You will supervise BD Managers and Execution Leaders, shaping roadmaps and ensuring commitments are delivered. The role requires deep expertise in data center infrastructure, liquid cooling (cold plates, CDUs, fluids), and global stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or business field.
• MBA or Master's preferred.
• 12+ years in technical business development or related roles.
• 5+ years people leadership leading technical/commercial teams.
• Experience in data center infrastructure and liquid cooling.
• Proven success in strategic customer relationships and influencing buying decisions.
• Strong understanding of liquid cooling technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for cold plate and liquid cooling solutions and engage C-suite stakeholders.
• Drive account planning and strategic growth with regional sales leaders.
• Coordinate with Prod Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance.
• Translate opportunities into execution and delivery activities.
• Lead and develop Technical Business Development Managers and Execution Leaders; set metrics.
• Establish governance, escalation, and risk mitigation across programs.
• Balance customer expectations with capabilities and readiness.
• Support executive briefings and industry events.
