It is a hands‑on leadership role requiring deep U.S. GAAP expertise, working knowledge of IFRS, strong memo‑writing, executive communication, and the ability to guide cross‑functional teams through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with technical accounting, financial reporting, or external audit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, documentation, and resolution of technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance.
• Author and maintain technical accounting position papers and memoranda.
• Monitor new accounting standards and SEC rulemaking; assess impact on policies and disclosures.
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards and provide training to finance teams.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and separation activities with transitional accounting.
• Own the policy library and ensure consistent application across the org.
• Partner with External Reporting on SEC filings and disclosures.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in Controllership.
