Momentous seeks a Director of Technology & Data Engineering to own enterprise technology, IT operations, data infrastructure, and AI capabilities. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a hands-on, cross-functional team in building a unified data ecosystem across commerce, subscriptions, and finance.

You will architect and operate cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery), establish governance, and drive cost efficiency while enabling AI-driven innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, cloud infrastructure or enterprise tech.
• Experience designing and operating modern cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery).
• Experience owning enterprise IT systems and vendor SLAs.
• Experience integrating systems across ecommerce, subscriptions, ERP and omnichannel.
• Leads with hands-on technical execution in lean, high-growth settings.

Responsabilités

• Own cloud data platform architecture, development, and operations (GCP/BigQuery).
• Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integrations across business systems.
• Establish environments, access controls, monitoring, and engineering standards.
• Build governed data foundation and semantic layer with dbt/MetricFlow.
• Lead AI-ready architecture and AI tool integrations with secure data access.
• Oversee integrations across Shopify, Recharge, Fulfil ERP, Amazon, and retail systems.
• Set security, privacy, risk management, and vendor management standards.
• Partner with Finance, Analytics, and cross-functional leaders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
