Amgen seeks a Director of Targeted Protein Degradation to lead science strategy for the Induced Proximity Platform. You will define a bold vision, build capabilities in chemistry, proteomics, and computational biology, and drive partnerships to create transformative medicines for patients.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, mentor scientists, and influence senior leadership on platform investments and long-range innovation goals.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent in a chemical biology or related field with leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of scientific teams and strategic program direction.
• Experience translating science into drug-discovery opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute a long-term scientific vision for targeted protein degradation.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team across chemical biology, proteomics, and translational sciences.
• Drive external collaborations and partnerships to advance IPP strategies.
• Stakeholder engagement with Research leadership and executive teams.
