Job summary

Snyk is seeking a Talent Business Partner Director to serve as the strategic people partner for our global R&D org, including engineering, product, and design teams. You’ll work with VP/C-level leaders on talent strategy, org design, and scaling high-performing technical teams while mentoring managers and guiding people initiatives.

This role blends strategic advisory with hands-on coaching in a fast-growing software/security environment, spanning multiple regions and time zones to support

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, incl. engineering/product/R&D or technical orgs.
• Partner senior technical leaders as trusted advisor, not just executor.
• Experience with organizational design and scaling of technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic thought partner to R&D leadership on org design and workforce planning.
• Coach managers from first-time to senior levels on team building and performance.
• Lead organizational design, team scaling, and restructuring to move fast with cohesion.
• Handle complex employee relations with knowledge of multinational employment practices.
• Use people data to drive concrete leadership recommendations.
• Drive participation in talent programs like calibration, compensation, and performance cycles.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Growth, and People Operations.
