Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a Director of HR Business Partner to serve as the strategic people partner to our R&D organization. You will work directly with the Head of R&D and senior leadership to shape the talent strategy for engineers, data scientists, researchers, and product teams across multiple hubs, including NYC, Aarhus, and Tel Aviv.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR/People experience.
• At least 5 years as a strategic HRBP supporting engineering/R&D at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience scaling an R&D organization through rapid growth.
• Ability to build and evolve people systems from scratch with data-driven rigor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to Head of R&D and senior leadership, embedding our people strategy to accelerate transformation.
• Lead organizational design and change management across R&D to optimize velocity, ownership, autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive the people side of AI transformation; evolve career frameworks reflecting AI-native development and increased ownership.
• Own workforce planning and talent strategy for R&D across core tech hubs (NYC, Aarhus, Tel Aviv) with finance alignment.
• Coach senior technical leaders on organizational health and performance, linking data with empathy.
• Support redefining R&D operating rhythm and culture, reinforcing OKR planning and quarterly reviews across a global, hybrid org.
