The City of New York's Department of Design and Construction (DDC), HRSD, seeks a Director of Recruitment and Retention to lead agency-wide recruitment and retention efforts and strengthen workforce development. You will drive strategic HR initiatives, collaborate with leaders, and shape the agency’s culture and talent pipeline.

Responsibilities include developing cost-effective recruitment strategies, coordinating with DCAS and OMB, overseeing the Summer Internship Program, and supervising HRSD

Competenze

• Degree or high school criteria with extensive community relations experience.
• Experience leading recruitment and retention programs in government.
• Ability to coordinate with city agencies and budget constraints.

• Lead agency-wide recruitment and retention strategies using low-cost approaches.
• Oversee new hire and promotional actions with DCAS and OMB.
• Plan and manage DDC's Summer Internship Program from recruitment to onboarding.
