The Department of Design and Construction (DDC) in New York City seeks a Senior Recruitment and Retention Analyst to support recruitment and retention goals. You will handle inquiries, post vacancies, review resumes, and build networks with colleges, career fairs, and professional organizations.

You will coordinate civil service hiring pools, track appointments, and liaise with DCAS on transfers and approvals. A strong understanding of civil service rules and training is essential.

Qualifikationen

• A baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work or related duties.
• High school graduation and six years of related experience as described above.
• Equivalency to 1 or 2 with at least one year of experience.

• Respond to HR inquiries from DDC employees with accurate guidance.
• Create and maintain NYCAPS job postings and distribute postings.
• Review resumes to verify minimum qualifications for agency roles.
• Develop and maintain recruitment networks through colleges, career fairs, and partnerships.
• Coordinate and track recruitment activities and maintain logs and tracking systems.
• Administer civil service hiring pools per agency needs and civil service rules.
• Monitor civil service appointments, title maturations, and related actions.
• Serve as liaison with DCAS and employees on transfers and approvals.
• Track probationary periods and resignations with timely reminders.
• Research civil service status and prepare provisional reports and cost charts.
• Provide training and coaching to Recruitment Analysts and campus aides.
• Assist with special projects and process improvements.
