Job summary

St.-John University is seeking a Director of Recruitment and Student Employment to provide strategic leadership and modernization of recruitment and onboarding practices. You will oversee university-wide hiring, student employment, and the implementation of the NEOED platform, ensuring compliance and process improvements aligned with the strategic plan.

The role requires extensive experience in recruiting leadership, change management, and collaboration with academic and administrative leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in recruiting with leadership experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and university recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Direct recruitment operations and meet hiring targets.
• Lead full life-cycle recruitment for staff and administrative roles.
• Oversee student employment including work-study and graduate assistantships.
• Centralize onboarding processes to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Drive implementation and optimization of NEOED recruitment workflows.
