The position drives the AEI accreditation efforts, advances simulation technologies, and collaborates with leadership to expand educational capabilities across the system.

Competenze

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency.
• Board certification/eligibility in General Surgery.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida medical license and appropriate clinical privileges.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership for the development and implementation of simulation-based surgical education programs.
• Manage required surgical simulation curricula and training programs per ACGME and BOS requirements.
• Develop competency-based assessment methods and coordinate team-based simulation activities.
• Teach, supervise and mentor residents and medical students in clinical, simulation and classroom settings.
