West Virginia University is seeking a Director of Student Services to lead recruitment, advising, and retention initiatives for the Davis College. The role supervises professionals and graduate assistants and collaborates with campus offices to support student success and degree progress.

The position oversees advising teams, student services programs, and assessment of outcomes while coordinating with registration, financial services, and admissions to improve undergraduate and graduate

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field related to the Davis College or higher education.
• Minimum of five years in higher education with strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Navigate, Banner.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered; all qualifications must be met.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate student engagement activities and campus events.
• Support Living-Learning Community planning, budgeting and assessment of outcomes.
• Oversee Davis College Student Council and coordinate with student organizations.
• Coordinate participation in Commencement, New Student Orientation and other events.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams on the college's recruitment plan.
• Oversee advising and success coaching and communicate key information to students.
