Job summary

Arizona Christian University is seeking a Director of Advising to lead the enrollment management team, oversee 4–5 centralized advisors, and implement processes to improve student enrollment, persistence, and graduation progress.

The role partners with the Registrar, Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Business Office, Admissions, Athletics and others to remove barriers and monitor metrics; requires a 4-year degree and at least 3 years in higher education enrollment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressively increasing responsibility in Higher Education Enrollment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; 4-year degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrollment management team of 4–5 advisors and establish clear expectations, workflows, performance standards, and accountability.
• Lead advising strategies that help students enroll, remain enrolled, and make progress toward graduation.
• Monitor enrollment and retention metrics, identify at-risk students, and implement persistence strategies.
• Collaborate with Registrar’s Office on credits, degree evaluations, registration issues, and access to required courses.
• Partner with Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Business Office, Admissions, Athletics, and other departments to remove barriers to enrollment.
