The University of Tennessee Southern is seeking a Director of Student Conduct to administer the disciplinary system for residential, academic, and non-academic concerns. The role includes serving as Title IX Coordinator, developing training programs, and ensuring compliance and timely resolutions of cases.

The Director will lead the Student Conduct Board, manage the Maxient system, and collaborate with the Vice Provost for Student Experience on division goals and strategic plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in related field.
  • Experience in student affairs, leadership and supervision in university settings.
  • Experience with conduct processes, investigations, crisis response and student safety.
  • Ability to train staff and develop policies, programs, and educational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Administer university disciplinary system for residential, academic and non-academic concerns as Student Conduct Officer.
  • Serve as Title IX Coordinator: maintain policies, train staff, oversee adjudication and compliance.
  • Chair CARE Team and oversee Maxient student records and conduct board processes.
  • Develop trainings, publications, and communications related to student conduct and Title IX.
  • Engage with diverse campus communities to promote advocacy, belonging and safety.
