Job summary

JQOL is seeking a Director of Structural Engineering in GA to lead the engineering department and drive successful project delivery. This senior role requires PE licensure in Georgia and 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership.

You will supervise design teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with the Technical Director. You will mentor staff, oversee QA/QC, and participate in client meetings to align technical solutions with client goals, standards, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia.
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• 5+ years in an engineering leadership/management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and improvement of technical processes and standards.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality through QA/QC and team management.
• Staff development, reviews, and mentorship.
• Time sheet review, workload tracking, and reporting with Technical Director.
• Develop and review project proposals; manage design projects and team.
