Job summary

JQOL is seeking a Structural Engineer Project Manager to lead a range of structural engineering projects across commercial, institutional, and public infrastructure markets. You will manage design teams, coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, a PE license in Indiana and/or Kentucky (SE preferred), and 6–10 years of experience, including 2–4 years in project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed PE in Indiana and/or Kentucky; SE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in structural engineering, with 2–4 years managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects from conceptual design through construction completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
• Lead internal design teams and coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and other consultants.
• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for buildings and structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood materials.
• Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
• Conduct site visits, perform field inspections, and provide construction phase support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support proposal development and participate in interviews and presentations for new business opportunities.
• Mentor and oversee junior staff and coordinate workload to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
