Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a senior purchasing leader in Chatsworth, CA to drive procurement strategy for raw materials, finished goods, and services. You will manage a team, establish supplier performance metrics, and lead cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring on-time deliveries and optimal inventory.

The role requires extensive purchasing experience in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and as-needed collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years progressive experience in Purchasing & Sourcing in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Production/Operations Management, or Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional certifications (NAPM/APICS) or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of purchasing professionals.
• Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics and supply chain improvements.
• Negotiate purchase orders or contracts to meet business needs.
• Maintain optimal material flow to ensure on-time deliveries and correct inventory levels.
• Develop supplier base and drive cost reductions and value creation.
