Job summary

NEOTech in Chatsworth, CA, seeks a Director, Business Systems & Manufacturing Applications to lead ERP/MES and BI initiatives across manufacturing sites. You will own the roadmap, standardize processes, govern data, and oversee a small internal AI/automation development team delivering analytics and automation that drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

10+ years of ERP, MES, or business systems leadership in manufacturing.
Multi-site manufacturing experience with plant-level operational exposure.
Direct experience with ERP modernization, upgrade, stabilization, or migration programs.
Working knowledge of MES/shop-floor systems, preferably Aegis or comparable platforms.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability industrial manufacturing.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional business process standardization.
Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, and outsourced IT providers.
Strong executive communication and practical decision-making skills.
Hands-on technical depth in software development and/or ERP customization sufficient to direct and review a development team.

Responsibilities

Lead Business Systems Strategy Execution & Roadmap Advisory.
Own the execution roadmap for ERP, MES, BI/reporting, integrations, AI-enabled business systems, and related manufacturing applications.
Translate strategy into system priorities, processes, and executable roadmaps.
Governing and refining strategy with IT leadership.
Provide recommendations on platform options and modernization.
Maintain visibility to priorities, dependencies, risks, and resource needs.
Ensure systems support growth, standardization, and AI-enabled productivity.
Own Epicor execution roadmap including UAT, training, go-live readiness, and future direction.
Drive standardization across plants while documenting exceptions.
Prioritize upstream fixes for planning, inventory, and production execution.
Own roadmap for Aegis/MES and shop-floor alignment.
Ensure MES decisions align with quality, traceability, and compliance needs.
Lead process design across quote-to-cash to procure-to-pay and other domains.
Define standard process models scalable across divisions and acquisitions.
Document and govern decisions before changes are approved.
Own data definitions and reporting governance across Epicor, Aegis, BI, and future systems.
Protect reporting during upgrades and establish single source of truth.
