Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. seeks an Associate Director to lead programs in special and alternative education settings nationwide.

You will collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services, monitor progress, and engage families while maintaining compliance with IEPs and licensing requirements. In this role, you will supervise staff, coordinate regional activities, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Credentials in Education or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Extensive experience with students with serious emotional disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advancing student potential by collaborating with teachers to work with small groups and deliver individualized services.
• Monitor student behavior and track educational progress.
• Communicate with parents and district personnel; reinforce learning and skills.
• Attend weekly Director’s Meetings and monthly Goal Reviews with Supervisor.
• Report facilities issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Maintain records including state licensing, student and employee files; ensure compliance.
