Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in engineering preferred, particularly with aerospace relevance.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering analysis experience in aerospace or human‑rated systems.
• 8+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading analytical organizations in fast‑paced, mission‑driven environments.
• Experience with NASA programs, standards, and human‑rated verification.
• Involvement in full lifecycle development of spacecraft analytical products from concept to certification.
• Experience driving cross‑program alignment and scaling within a centralized structure.
• Strong collaboration with government agencies, customers, and industry partners on mission‑critical systems.
• Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering Analysis organization, fostering excellence, accountability, and high performance.
• Build and mentor a leadership bench with career development and succession planning.
• Set the strategic vision for the Engineering Analysis Center of Excellence aligned with objectives.
• Establish unified analytical standards across structural, thermal, fluids, loads, dynamics teams.
• Champion analytical governance, model validation, and design assurance improvements.
• Ensure analytical products comply with industry standards and mission requirements.
• Oversee full analytical lifecycle from requirements through certification support.
• Provide technical oversight for complex analytical approaches and load environments.
• Drive cross‑program coordination to optimize resources in a matrixed environment.
• Support leadership with risk management and mission readiness through analytical insight.
• Collaborate with NASA centers, clients, and partners to deliver analytical solutions.
