One of our companies is currently looking for a Director of Solutions Engineering in the United States.

This is a leadership role for a seasoned solutions engineering professional who thrives on building high-performing teams and driving customer success through technical excellence. You will oversee a distributed team of Solutions Engineers across EMEA and North America, guiding them in delivering pre-sales support, technical consultation, and architectural insights. This role combines hands-on expertise, mentorship, and strategic alignment across product, sales, and customer engagement. You will play a critical role in enabling customers to realize the full value of advanced IoT and cloud-based solutions.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of Solutions Engineers, fostering collaboration and performance
• Support the sales cycle by delivering value-focused technical guidance, solution design, and architecture consultation
• Act as a technical advocate in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams
• Drive best practices in Proof of Concept (POC) development, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations
• Equip your team to advise customers on integrating complex IoT ecosystems using modern cloud and edge technologies
• Represent the company at industry events, meetups, and technical workshops as a thought leader
• Maintain high standards for customer engagement, ensuring solutions align with both technical requirements and business outcomes
  
  
  

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Proven ability to manage and scale remote teams across international regions
• Strong background in solutions architecture and value-based selling approaches
• Deep understanding of IoT and modern infrastructure technologies: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, MQTT, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in Java and MQTT protocols, with a track record of implementing scalable enterprise solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
• Experience mentoring technical teams and developing playbooks for repeatable success
