Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a software engineering leader to direct a technical area within the Consumer and Community Banking group. The role shapes strategies, drives impactful delivery, and acts as a primary decision maker for teams and projects.

You will oversee technology implementations, governance, and cross-domain solutions while promoting innovation and inclusive leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 10+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex items in your domain.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Expertise in CS/CE/Math or related field.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across business, product and technology teams.
• Experience with Distributed Datastores and Big Data cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives.
• Makes decisions influencing resources, budget, and execution of processes and procedures.
• Carries governance for coding decisions, cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations.
• Delivers technical solutions usable across multiple businesses and domains.
