Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive software‑development experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience leading software development in the medical-device industry.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a software engineering strategy aligned with product, technology, quality, and business strategies.
• Lead the evolution of the software organization across embedded, mobile, web, cloud, connectivity, and data solutions.
• Establish governance, lifecycle processes, and metrics for predictability, quality, and delivery performance.
• Oversee external software-development partners and ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, Systems Engineering, and other stakeholders to meet safety and regulatory obligations.
