Qualifications

• Proven ability to establish and drive technology strategy aligned with business needs.
• Strong backbone in modern tech stacks, cloud-native apps across GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Experience leading large-scale tech initiatives, preferably in retail or matrixed environments.
• Expertise in Agile delivery and governance across teams.
• Ability to mentor leaders and build bench strength within engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and anticipate future technology needs balancing innovation, trends, and business requirements.
• Lead design, delivery, and operations of modernized technology solutions aligning with enterprise strategy.
• Stay current on emerging technologies to keep Macy’s stack modern and competitive.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance platform modernization and enterprise initiatives.
• Improve software quality and drive end-to-end accountability across the tech organization.
• Own talent development and build bench strength within the technology team.
• Mentor and coach leaders and individual contributors to raise the talent bar.
• Manage portfolio budget, projects, and resource planning for effective delivery.
• Foster an inclusive environment and authentic stakeholder relationships across colleagues and communities.
